Shyrdak felt rug handmade in the Tien Shan mountains. This felt rug was hand crafted by the nomadic artisans of Kyrgyzstan, who have been practising the art of felting for many centuries. Shyrdak Felt rugs are made by sewing contrasting felt patterns onto a felt base. They are suitable to be used as either rugs or wall hangings. Made with undyed sheeps wool.
